Privacy Policy

Your party details help us make your plan and manage invitations. Here is what we collect, where it goes, and the choices you have.

Who we are

PartyHatch is operated by RITA AI, based in Washington, United States. This policy covers partyhatch.com. Contact support@partyhatch.com about privacy or personal information.

Information you provide

  • Account and support information, such as your email address and messages you send us.
  • Party details, including a child’s first name and age turning, date and time, venue and address when provided, guest counts, budget, theme, and planning preferences.
  • Invitations and RSVPs: responding adult’s name, attendance choice, adult and child counts, optional children’s names, food notes, messages for the host, and name-sharing choices.
  • Custom-theme requests and generated content. Please avoid putting contact details, medical information, or other sensitive personal information in theme prompts.
  • Purchase records, such as the product, amount, payment status and transaction identifiers. Payment card details are handled by Stripe’s checkout rather than stored in our application.

How we use information

We use it to create and save plans, generate requested content, provide invitations and RSVP management, authenticate accounts, deliver purchases, answer support requests, prevent misuse, diagnose problems, and maintain the service. Hosting and service providers may process network and technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and request logs for delivery and security.

Invitations and guest privacy

Anyone who receives an invitation link may open it, and recipients can forward it. Hosts choose whether to display the address and guest list. Responding families choose whether their names appear in an enabled guest list. Food notes and private messages are shown to the host in the product, not in the shared guest list.

Only share details you are comfortable giving the host. A host may also save, print or share information outside PartyHatch; this policy does not control those separate actions. Access links should be kept private.

Services that help us run PartyHatch

  • Vercel: website hosting, application delivery and operational logs.
  • Supabase: account authentication, database and file storage. Authentication email delivery also uses email infrastructure, including Amazon SES.
  • Stripe / Link: checkout, payments, tax handling and transaction support through Managed Payments. Their own privacy terms also apply to payment information.
  • Anthropic and OpenAI: custom-theme text and image generation. We send theme preferences and relevant planning constraints such as age, headcounts and venue type. The structured generation context excludes stored child names, addresses and guest records, but information typed into a free-text prompt may still be sent.
  • Google Maps: address suggestions. Using address search sends your search text and associated technical information to Google.
  • Google Analytics and Meta: optional measurement, described below.

Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer subject to applicable protections.

Basic traffic counts

When enabled, PartyHatch counts visits to the homepage, party-ideas pages and planning pages, clicks on the homepage’s Start planning links, the first interaction with a planning form, and successful draft and invitation saves. These first-party counts use generic page labels without cookies, visitor IDs or browser fingerprinting. The count payload excludes names, addresses, form contents, private party links, campaign parameters and referrers. Counts do not identify unique people or connect their journeys.

Our hosting provider processes network and request information when receiving these requests, so we do not describe this as fully anonymous. Hourly totals for generic events and planning stages are stored in our database and retained for historical reporting, without individual visitor records. Hosting request logs are separate and follow our hosting plan’s retention. Existing analytics opt-outs, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track stop future basic counts. You can also stop them using No thanks in Privacy preferences; Google Analytics and Meta remain separate and require permission.

Cookies and optional measurement

Essential cookies and browser storage support sign-in, access to your party, saved preferences and core features. Optional measurement is separate: you can use PartyHatch without accepting it.

Site analytics: with your permission, Google Analytics measures visits and interactions. We use generic private-page labels and exclude names, contact details, form values and private party links from the analytics events we send.

Advertising measurement: with separate permission, Meta measures visits and actions such as creating a draft or copying an invitation link. Meta may receive browser and network information and a Meta ad-click identifier from a public landing page. Our integration isolates Meta from the party page and sends event names rather than child names, addresses, RSVP contents or private invitation URLs. Copying or opening a share option does not tell us that an invitation was delivered.

Our integration does not send children’s details to advertising services. We do not offer your party or RSVP records for sale. Advertising identifiers may be treated as sharing or targeted advertising under applicable laws; you can decline that measurement. We honor Global Privacy Control for Meta loading.

You can change either optional choice below or from Privacy preferences in the footer. Withdrawal stops future optional measurement; it cannot recall information already sent. Previously set cookies may remain until cleared or expired.

Retention and deletion

Your browser may retain local copies of party content for continued or offline use. Deleting server records does not remove copies already downloaded, printed, or held on other devices. Saved accounts, parties and generated assets remain available for continued use; party data is not automatically erased when the party date passes. Contact us to request deletion of an account, party or RSVP information. We may need to verify your connection to the information first.

Some information may need to be retained for payment records, legal obligations, security or disputes. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove backup copies or records independently held by payment providers. We will explain relevant limitations when handling your request.

Parents and children

PartyHatch is designed for adults planning parties, not for children to create accounts or use as a social network. Adults provide party and guest details. Please use only the children’s information needed for the event and ensure you have permission to provide it. If you believe a child has submitted information directly without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

Your requests and policy updates

You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about how your information is handled. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will handle requests according to applicable law. We use safeguards to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice when required. The date above identifies the latest revision.
